It is a 75-hour, three-subject program focused on practical municipal infrastructure design using Autodesk Civil 3D, InfraWorks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks and AI-assisted workflows. Students develop one continuous Ontario municipal infrastructure project from preliminary design through BIM coordination and final digital delivery.
AI is integrated as a productivity assistant. Students use Microsoft Copilot, Autodesk AI capabilities and AI-assisted workflows for activities such as documentation, conceptual exploration, standards review, simulation support, QA/QC and technical communication. Engineering decisions remain the responsibility of the designer.
No. Prior Civil 3D experience is not required for standard admission. Familiarity with AutoCAD or engineering CAD concepts is recommended.
The program uses Autodesk Civil 3D 2026, Autodesk InfraWorks 2026, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Autodesk Docs, Autodesk Navisworks and Microsoft Copilot.
Yes. You'll progressively develop a realistic Ontario municipal collector road rehabilitation and subdivision servicing project throughout all three subjects.
