Become a Design and Technology structural engineer

It is open to both beginners and those who already have experience in structural engineering. This program will develop students’ knowledge and skills in many areas. These areas include structural analysis, calculations and design principles. In this program they will further learn how to use AutoCAD, Revit Structure, MicroStation and STAAD Pro in engineering drawing, calculation and analysis. In addition, they will also work with project management software such as Oracle Primavera, MS Project and Sage Timberline. At the end of the program the structural design project will provide students with an opportunity to apply structural design principles using STAAD Pro.

Admission Requirements:

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent (or) passing an entrance test and admissions interview. In addition, basic computer skills are also required. Previous college or university level education in science, technology and engineering is recommended.
