Sas statistical modeling

Statistical modeling using SAS

We are glad to announce that our Statistical Modeling course has been running for more than 15 years and has helped thousands of students landing a position in data analysis. This course covers advanced statistical topics with a focus on building data models using SAS technology.

At Metro College, you can learn the latest statistical methods in an efficient, affordable and enjoyable manner. Our instructors are all well-known experts in their fields. They are also outstanding teachers who are highly skilled at making statistics understandable.

Statistical analysis and modelling involves the appropriate application of statistical analysis techniques, each requiring certain assumptions be met, to perform hypothesis tests, interpret the data, and reach valid conclusions. The topics in this course include logistic regression, linear regression, statistical tests, segmentation, using classification and regression tree, and association.

SAS is a major commercial statistical analysis system that is used at about 82,000 sites worldwide by 2020 and by four million users. The SAS system and SAS programming language are used by most of the Fortune 500. This course is designed to be a practical course in the use of SAS in industry, such as, Market Research, Finance and Medicine. You will learn SAS as a programming language, and some more advanced features of SAS programming. To date all the data you have seen has usually been given to you in a form ready for exploration and modeling. This is rarely the case in most day-to-day projects in industry. Here, the emphasis will be on getting data from a “raw and messy” form into a state ready for the data analysis techniques. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able function as a Data Modeling Analyst or similar roles.
