Mechanical Engineering Design and Technology – Toronto Campus

Program Description

The Mechanical Engineering Design and Technology program at Metro College of Technology will accelerate your prospect of a career in mechanical engineering. You will gain knowledge and skills in mechanical design principles, North American design standards, and computer-aided design software programs such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor and CATIA. You will learn how use the CAE program ANSYS to perform finite element analysis and computational fluid dynamics analysis. You will also acquire valuable practical work experience, not only through a mechanical design project, but also with the chance to take a co-op placement in a mechanical design institution.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, passing an entrance test and admissions interview. In addition, basic computer skills are also required.
